Mayor's State of The City Address 2016 --Rescheduled to February 4th

Change is What We Are Witnessing in Plainfield

 : to become different

: to make (someone or something) different

         : to become something else

This is how the dictionary defines change...

We could also describe it as a transformation from one state of being to another.

Change is what we are witnessing in Plainfield today.

Transformative change... The kind of change that alters lives and makes history.

Slowly but surely we are taking steps to revitalize Plainfield, to build better businesses, to help existing businesses thrive, to make safer neighborhoods, and attract responsible neighbors.

We are providing resources, information and interacting with you, our community, through social media, through our website and through the City of Plainfield Mapp App - and when you speak we are listening, hearing and taking action.

In case you haven't heard, in case you haven't noticed, our Plainfield is on the move, we are changing, evolving, and as we rise we are transforming into something better, something progressive, something that's going to have people coming to look, and staying to live.

This year will be a transformative year, and I hope you will join me at the State of The City address on Tuesday January 26th, 7PM at the Plainfield Senior Citizens Center, 400 Front Street, as I share some of the highlights of 2015 and lay out our plans for 2016.

Creating One Plainfield - One Future,

Mayor Adrian O. Mapp
